Sebelumnya, Kepala Daerah surat Bupati OKU Selatan melalui Dinas Pariwisata mengeluarkan surat edaran (SE) Nomor : 3661/116/PARBUD/2021 perihal penutupan sementara kunjungan objek wisata Danau Ranau selama 8 hari mulai 10 Mei - 17 Mei 2021 dan kembali dibuka atau dapat dikunjungi pada Selasa (18/5) Edarkan Uang Palsu di Tempat Wisata Danau Ranau, Warga Asal Oku Timur Diamankan Polisi Kepolisian Resort (Polres) Ogan Komering Ulu Selatan (OKUS) Berhasil mengamankan tersangka pengedar uang palsu yang beraksi di seputaran objek wisata Danau Rana SWARAID OKUS : Pelaksanaan event Sriwijaya Ranau Gran Fondo (SRGF) 2021 yang berlangsung di Kawasan Danau Ranau Kabupaten OKU Selatan, untuk ketiga kali berturut-turut sukses digelar.
